I never paint with a concrete vision in the beginning, I start my paintings with the colors that come to my mind at that moment and try to find a way to balance them.

Being from Bihar-Madhubani, Mithila painting is something that is in my heart as well as in my hands. Mithila painting holds a personal value for me as an artist, incorporating this style into my paintings is a small way of honoring my mother and her many hidden talents.
